You can easily get lost and discover wonderful corners, however, from Costa del Sol Christie’s International Real Estate we wish to make a list of our favorite places on the Costa del Sol.
What you can’t miss on the Costa del Sol:
Marbella. Marbella is the destination par excellence if we talk about the Costa del Sol. Its climate, its beaches, the Andalusian atmosphere that is breathed in the streets of the historic center, as well as the dazzling luxury will delight anyone who visits this city.
Puerto Banús. Although it is located within the city of Marbella, Puerto Banús deserves a separate mention. This port is considered the jewel of the crown of Marbella, being one of the most recognized places throughout the European continent. Its opening in 1970 was attended by numerous personalities from all over the international scene, including the royalty of Monaco, which already predicted the future fame of this port. In addition, at this place it is possible to find luxury boutiques, as if it we were at center of Milan.
Sierra Blanca. The entire area of Marbella is under the rule of the Sierra Blanca, a mountainous complex characterized by its little vegetation, peculiarity that has endowed it with this name. In addition, Sierra Blanca is the name of one of the most luxurious and exclusive residential areas of Marbella, located at the foothills of the mountain. Its streets are full of luxury villas in which to enjoy various types of architecture and design.
Malaga, the capital. Another essential if we want to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the Costa del Sol is Malaga, its capital. Full of monuments and a varied gastronomic offer for all kinds of palates; its proliferation of numerous museums such as the Picasso, the Pompidou or the Thyssen among others, or the multicultural salt-scented atmosphere that is breathed in its Muelle 1; have recently released the Malaga city to the starship of European capitals.
Nerja and Frigiliana.
At the coast of the Axarquía we find two essential locations for every visitor to the Costa del Sol: Nerja and Frigiliana. Nerja is a beautiful seaside town where we can enjoy a majestic view of the Mediterranean Sea from a privileged place: El Balcón de Europa. Here we can also visit the Caves of Nerja. With 4,823 meters, it is considered one of the caves with the greatest topographic development in Andalusia. Frigiliana, on the other hand, is surrounded by the green hills of Sierra Almijara. Its immaculate white facades and the flowers hanging from its balconies have earned it a win for many visitors the title of ”most beautiful village in Malaga”
The Costa del Sol is a destination that draws attention to everything previously exposed and much more, but what will really reach your heart are the people who make it up. The beauty of its streets, its Mediterranean gastronomy and the kindness of its people make this the perfect destination from which, from Costa del Sol – Christie’s International Real Estate we warn you, you will not want to leave.
